Why do bus passengers get up and wobble to the front 200 yards before the next bus stop has even come into view.
You wouldn't do this on an airplane, you wouldn't get out of your seat as the plane approaches the airport or while it is taxing down the runway.
I can excuse able bodied people and kids but why do old people and pregnant women who moan about needing a seat risk injury hanging onto the rails as the bus swerves around corners and bounces over speed bumps before jolting to a halt.
When you ring the bell on a bus indicating you wish to alight at the next designated stop it is the drivers job to bring the bus to a halt and wait while you get off the bus. It should not be necessary to reinforce the ding dong bus bell signal to the driver by ambling out of your seat and teetering down the aisle into his peripheral view.Ok if your in a hurry by all means go for it you might actually save yourself oh....a whole five to ten seconds on getting off or even beat the old women and the housewife with the pram and two kids off the bus...but honestly would it kill you to wait while they get off.
So please read my blog and tell me WHY do you get up before the bus stop ???
